Baltic Amber:

Seafaring Baltic tribes told the legend of Jurate, a sea goddess who fell in love with a handsome fisherman.  Angry over the forbidden union of a goddess and a mortal, a thunder god destroyed her Amber palace underneath the sea. According to the legend, fragments of the divine palace still wash ashore and can be found by those lucky enough. Many Europeans today still believe Baltic Amber has the ability to soothe, comfort and bring a healing energy to those who wear it close to the skin.
